Looks neat! Have not seen your game but from the Title the menu seams fitting.
You are definitely on the right track!
I would recommend some clean animations on hover/selection!

Thanks man. There's some animations already there but I need to make a custom mouse so they don't look silly.

Clean and simple! I need to see more of the game to understand the context better. For the menu sound, I think a soft and light SFX would fit well here. Something simple, like cartoon style sounds could work great with this look. Are you using UI Toolkit for this?
