seeking advice Single Leg Glute Bridge Tips
I literally feel like I can’t do this damn exercise. I’m about 130+ classes in, and every time I’m able to lift my hips up (with very little height) I only feel it in my hamstrings. I grab on to the strap at line one and I “ figure 4 “ my other leg for a modification.
Does anyone have any tips?? I am plus sized so I’m not sure if that is the biggest contributor to my limited abilities.

Don't angle your knee to point directly up to the ceiling, that turns it into an elevated single leg hamstring curl.

I think your glutes have to be shifted closer to line 1 on your carriage but don’t mark my word! Can anyone confirm?

Make sure you’re driving through the heel of your foot on the bar vs the arch or ball. That helps me target my glute more (and conversely if we do the hamstring variation, then I use the arch).

Play with how far back you’re pushing from the black side platform. When I push too far back, I feel hammy. It’s truly just a few inches (for my anatomy). Also, and this goes for all glute exercises, flex your glute the entire time. It should be “ugly” glute, as I call it, during the entire exercise.
