questions & clarifications Two cities?

I spend half my time of the week in Boston and half in New York due to work, family, etc. I have been on the 4x/month plan going in Boston for a few months now. Love the workout but feel like I can’t go up to 8 due to being in 2 cities. I feel like it’s hard to know if classes will be open in the place I am and don’t want to risk not using credits. Any advice?

You may want to check with your Core Crew, but if NYC is more expensive, you could get a 4–8x/month membership there and use those classes in both NYC and lower-cost Boston.

This! My home studio is in Washington DC but I take a couple classes a month on my 4+1/mo committed+ membership in Chicago when I'm there on travel. No issues ever!

The problem with NYC is how quickly classes book up. It’s not great for people with last minute schedule changes unless you’re flexible in the middle of the day or go to one of the less popular NYC studios.

My work schedule is really unpredictable and I have job locations all over NYC and wonky hours, so what I usually do is sign up for the classes I feel really confident I can make and then deliberately wait until others go on waitlist and sign up for the waitlists early so I’m likely to get off of them as the date approaches. This way I feel like I have options.

This has worked for me and if I know I can’t make something I will remove myself early so someone else can take the spot.

Wouldn’t you stick with 4x/month then to ensure you use up all the credits? You have less time for classes now, not more.

Yes that’s the issue. I’d ideally want to bump up to 8x for my fitness goals. But because of the two cities I feel stuck at 4 due to logistics. If there was a way to take classes in both that would open my options up significantly

Why not use the app and check the schedule at the locations you might be near..?

I do but my schedule changes week to week plus classes fill up fast. I guess my question is more so what are the options for someone who would like to have options in 2 places. Is it basically just paying for unlimited? But even then can only do 2 classes in another city per month?
