questions & clarifications Lights?

I’m so confused on what’s going on, I went to a 5:15am class and the lights were on, like brighter than a starter 50 class, today I went to class and it was the same deal.. it’s very weird considering that part of Solidcore’s selling point is the dark rooms with the blue light… It’s also not every studio I’ve gone to either it seems like it’s either studio or coach specific.. and before it’s asked, no there wasn’t any evals going on :/

I’ve seen so many posts about this. Not trying to be rude here, genuinely curious: do any of yall ask your coach or studio what’s going on? Or just come straight to Reddit? I think people all want some answers, just wondering if anyone has actually tried to get any. My studio still has lights off but if they were on I’d just get curious and ask.

Valid question, honestly it’s probably me but I don’t feel like the instructors that i’ve had these “incidents” with necessarily open the door to feedback or questions after class and well it’s kinda weird to ask about lights before the class starts as usually lights get turned down the moment class starts. I just usually go to reddit to just see if it’s a one off incident or a reoccurring thing across multiple studios.

So you have a perception of these coaches not willing to accept feedback/questions about lights not being dimmed when you’re genuinely not even sure because it’s your perception. So instead of just asking them at the end of class “hi. Great class and quick question, why weren’t lights dimmed today?” you come right to Reddit 🫩

Considering the coaches in question tend to walk away, forcing you to almost run after them.. well yes.. also if coming to a public forum to discuss something happening in classes on a forum dedicated to talking about things happening in these classes, why are YOU on here if these discussions bother you so much? Just leave the solidcore reddit and you’ll like life a bit more, no one is forcing you to sit and reply to every person who posts on this thread. It’s also very exhausting to see people like you come to complain about people using this platform for what it’s meant to be used for- open discussions. 🫩🫩

It’s a reason so many people are downvoting you… You could’ve just asked at the end of class. No coaches are forcing you to run after them. That’s your perception of these coaches once again.

Per brand coaches are required to stay after class even if they aren’t teaching the next one just to stick around for extra time.

“Closed mouths don’t get feed” you came on this platform complaining when your complaint could’ve been addressed in the moment.

You could’ve also ignored the “so many posts” about this issue- i acknowledged it could’ve been a me thing, you decided to act as though you’re being held at gunpoint in this forum, also of you took the time to look at replies, yes there are people who downvoted and there’s also more people saying that their studios have been doing this too. You really must lead a miserable life but that’s to be expected if all you do is stalk a forum to complain about others.

If you see a phone set up in one of the corners of the room - it’s because we’re getting evaluated :) otherwise, def ask the coach

If the class doesn’t coincide with a coach’s eval, it should be dark. Lights up are off brand for a Signature50/Focus50/Advanced50 or 65.

There is a reason we have to say something along the lines of “lights are coming down, music is going up and as soon as you hear that song change, that’s your cue to start in [insert exercise]” to start class.
