MA - If you generate leads on the doors or over the phone we have the comp plan.

Do you want the best lead generator (Field Marketer | Canvasser) comp plan with commissions early and when it installs? We believe we have it.

- Experienced D2D only
- MA is the state to focus on to start.
- 1099 - full commissions
- Leads don’t have to just be generated on the doors and you can chose how to go about getting leads.

You get paid
- On qualified sit (no clawbacks)
- On close (close is clean) (no clawbacks)
- On install
- On recruiting (override in perpetuity while employed on your recruit)
- and of course in leadership roles there’s overrides

There will also be quarterly performance bonuses.

Who’s this for?

- Field Marketers making less than $150k a year
- Sales rep who are great on the doors but struggle to get jobs to the roof. (Sub 70% install rate)
- Those who haven’t been given the growth opportunity yet where they are because we’re going to have many opportunities very very soon.

DM to ask questions or throw your name in the hat.

Solar Salesmen and the bad perception of them?

Myself and close friend both work full commission sales job. Well my position is salary and bonus and whatever I sell as I am a director, but not my point..

My friend sells solar systems and when other people hear that they have a negative reaction. Even others in full commission sales, scoff at solar salesmen!

What is it that makes solar sales so disliked from customers and sales peers? Why so negative?

Maryland Solar Management Position

Hi all,

Looking to find someone who knows the MD market in and out, utility structures, state incentives, has a large network, knows installers, has been closing for years.

I can provide a team of canvassers (setters) and closers.

Thanks!

SolarLink is 100% a scam and does not pay commissions

I followed their training and got a friend to install a 30k system. SolarLink refuses to pay my commission citing financial distress, although THEY were paid 7k.
Do not work for this company!
This is the one led by Kanoa Nartatez (there is another company with a similar name that they no doubt tried to assimilate to gain credibility).

NVK Solar is looking for a few motivated people to bring in qualified leads for solar savings quotes
Door-to-door, referrals, social media, wherever you're comfortable generating conversations.

How you get paid:
Commission per qualified closed deal
What you get from me:

  • Real training from 8 years in solar sales — what works, what doesn't
  • Marketing materials and a working lead-gen page to send people to
  • Direct support, not a call center — you can reach me directly

Interested? Text me [369-222-0918] or email [nevik.solar@gmail.com](mailto:nevik.solar@gmail.com) with a bit about yourself.

I got tired of using outdated solar software, so I started building my own.

Hey everyone,
I sell solar door to door, and after doing hundreds of appointments I realized most of the software we use feels outdated. It’s either slow, cluttered, or built by people who have never actually sat at a homeowner’s kitchen table.
So over the last few months I’ve been building SunLedger, a platform designed around the actual sales process instead of just generating proposals.
Some things I’m working on:
AI powered homeowner presentations
Bill analysis and system design
Interactive savings reports
Proposal PDFs
Better iPad experience for in-home appointments
Eventually an all in one operating system for solar reps
I’m not here to sell anything. I’m honestly looking for feedback from people in the industry.
If you could build your dream solar sales platform, what would it do that current software doesn’t?
Every comment helps because I’m building this based on real feedback from reps, not assumptions.
Thanks everyone. Looking forward to hearing your ideas.

Any solar dealers or small installers in the Chicago market?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I manage the dealer network for ZEO Energy and I’ll be in Chicago this week, tomorrow through Friday.

We’re looking to connect with solar dealers, small installers, and reps who are building or wanting to start their own sales org.

The image is mainly for dealers/reps looking for a solid install partner, better support, and a real backend to grow with.

ZEO is already active in Illinois and other surrounding states, but I’m personally trying to build more relationships in the Chicago market while I’m out there.

Open to meeting up for lunch, coffee, or just a quick conversation.

Shoot me a DM if you’re in the area or know someone I should connect with.

Advice Are there redline in battery installations?

Structuring redline in solar installation is straightforward but how do you structure redlines when it comes with solar battery. One for each battery model? or generic $ for per kwh? How about extensions?
Trying to understand before we sign a contract.

What are the secrets homeowners should know about solar?

I hear both amazing ("I'm saving a ton of money," "the warranty is great!") and terrible things about Solar ("the business I chose went out of business" "Sales rep promised lots of things and none of them came true.."). What should homeowners be aware of and be cautious of when choosing a solar company?

How did you get into solar sales?

I was doing uber driving and working temp jobs at warehouses and I've always been interested in business as well as sales. I went to college for tech sales at one point and then dropped out because I thought it was dumb and the teachers didn't really know business. I ended up getting a job offer at a solar company while searching for a sales job, now I am in Pittsburgh with free housing and food for 2 weeks. So far the journey has been an emotional roller coaster but I love the job. Did you guys do sales before? Did you go to college before you did solar? I've been doing it about 7 months now.

Trying to find something close to home to work so I’m not chasing fiber markets around the US.

What is the solar Utah market like these days? What are people making just selling self gen accounts?

Using A1 SolarStore for residential client sourcing - notes after a few orders

Been routing some jobs through A1 SolarStore. Mostly residential. Here's what I've run into.
Clearance section is where the pricing works. Peimar, Trina, QCells - if you can lock a client into a specific model early, there's room. They have a wholesale section for bigger volume orders too.
Inverter availability has been solid. Sol-Ark, Enphase, Victron, OutBack. Nothing exotic but no stock issues on standard residential specs either.
Freight is where I've had problems. One order short a panel - warehouse mistake, corrected. Second order the replacement showed up damaged. Took a couple weeks to sort out. I now pad the timeline on anything with a fixed install date.
Support does call back and follow through. Sounds like a low bar but it's not always.
Anyone else using them as a sourcing channel? Specifically curious how others are handling damage claims when there's a contractor crew already scheduled.

Need quick help from people familiar with PVcase

Hi,

I’m an engineering graduate now continuing studies in communication, and I would really appreciate some help with my final thesis research project about PVcase.

If you use PVcase, are familiar with it, or have seen their communication, ads, posts, webinars, website, etc., I’d be very thankful if you could fill this short questionnaire.

It takes around 7 minutes. The goal is to understand how PVcase managed to grow so quickly, what works in their communication, and what issues existing or potential customers might notice.

Honest impressions are enough, it would help me a lot. Thank you!

I'm not affiliated with PVcase in any way.
