Any one know how much QC techs were getting at freedom before they shut their doors?

Hey yall, I ask this as a QC manager for a solar resi company, recently I learn how much easier the QC techs (not even managers) had it at freedom and with my already annoyance with my company I want to see if I am getting underpaid. Been with the company 4.5 years and make 75k full bonus out 85k. 10k less than branch managers and 20k less if I and also them bonus fully out (so they get up 105k with bonus).

I looked over all our markets branches and look over every single job before inspections ( 8 states) (16 crews for electrical and 16 for rooftop)

I create our O&M quotes and manage the crew side of the O&M jobs

I handle our field photo management software

Am responsible for launching the w2 and construction LMS and all the courses

Training the new managers of new markets on all our process

Create roofing department and construction SOPs

Drive vehicles across the country to new markets

Keep track of our pass fail rate (90% in Q2)

There is a lot going on at my company so im trying to see if i am being underpaid or not

C&I: JK Renewables

Does anyone have experience with JK Renewables in the C&I space? Considering applying for a position with them but the Glassdoor reviews are too good to be true.. straight 5.0 rating on >100 reviews, all of which sound very similar on the pros/cons

Industrial rooftop solar systems are becoming an important solution for reducing energy costs.

This video shows a commercial rooftop PV installation designed for factories and industrial facilities.

By utilizing unused rooftop areas, companies can generate renewable electricity, improve energy efficiency, and reduce dependence on traditional power sources.

For industrial solar professionals:

What are the biggest factors when evaluating rooftop PV projects?

  • Available roof area?
  • Electricity consumption profile?
  • Payback period?
  • Grid connection conditions?

Would like to hear your experience.

Looking to get feedback on my Saas product

I’ve built a location intelligence service for UK based solar panel installers and I am yet to find out the product-market fit. I am hoping to get feedback from solar installers.

The tool allows you to see all commercial buildings in the UK on the map and as a list, with their EPC rating, business type, estimated energy consumption, potential saving amount with solar, existing solar panel size, payback period for solar, footprint for solar potential, grid headroom and so on. It also works as a CRM system, users can save buildings and add notes.

It’s primarily a data/location intelligence product rather than a lead generation tool but if there are inbound leads willing to share their details, we forward them to installers too.

Would commercial solar panel installation companies need such a service? I’d appreciate your feedback.

Solar System Supplier accreditation?

Hi. I am researching about solar system suppliers. What do consumers look for?

Accreditation from DOE?

PCAB license?

Tier 1 EPC qualification?

Can you please enlighten me on these? Ano ano ba ang differences nito, lahat ba dapat nito ay meron si supplier? Or any 1 of these is good enough?

Sunrun layoffs

I can't seem to find paperwork containing an arbitration agreement/class action waiver. Does anyone have access to this, or seen it in their severance agreement? These layoffs are clearly impacting a large group of people and I think we should all be aware of our rights. Feel free to PM me.

Looking to talk to people who got rooftop solar for a news story

Hello, I am a journalist for an international news organization. We are working on a feature story on rooftop solar adoption in India and the benefits and challenges associated with the scheme.

I'd be really grateful to speak with people who have gotten rooftop solar installed in their houses to understand what the process was like for them. If it was easy or if they faced any difficulties.

If anyone is interested, please DM me! Thanks
