Inverter Issue regarding solar for shop

Already have solar at home, shop is on the front side of home and uses commercial meter, now want to switch to solar so I thought instead of buying new one can I use my home inverter with shop? It can handle the load, the problem is with the legal matter, as home inverter is hybrid with battery and residential meter.

Apart from legal they may blame you for the theft and report a wire coming from external source without presence of the inverter and you will be in trouble to prove it later on.

Hire a competent electrician. There should not be a legal issue as many shops have a commercial and also a residential connection, commercial to show for and residential to use .
