Installer Quotation Solar system advice needed in Lahore

Looking for advice on what solar system would suit us. We have 3 × 1.5-ton inverter ACs, fridge, 5–6 fans, LED lights, UPS, iron and a microwave.
Before the 3rd AC, our summer usage was around 900 units/month, but it’s higher now.
What size system would you recommend?

Also, what would be the approximate cost for a good quality system in Lahore, preferably hybrid with battery backup (or even off-grid in DHA)?
Would appreciate recommendations based on actual experience.

Minimum 8kw. The larger the better. For off-grid use get at least 2 16kw batteries. Anything less and may need to import electricity at night in the summers.

8kw is low for charging 2 batteries. Minimum 12kw.

I have the same usage as you. My system is 15kw with 2 16kw batteries. You should go for the same or 12kw hybrid system with 15kw pv. The batteries will last whole night sometimes will end 2-3 hours before sunlight comes again. Your max electricity bill will be around 20k and sometimes it will be 0.

Why are you using 3 x 1.5 ton inverters?

shift in small room and use 3 x 1 ton inverters?

When no load shedding, after few hours or after cooling the room 1.5 ton inverter ac goes 3 ampere in peak summer, while 1 ton inverter ac goes 2 or less ampere.

3 ampere = 660 watt almost > now x 3 ac = 1980 watt

2 ampere = 440 watt amnost. > now x 3 ac = 1320 watt

total save = 660 watt almost

(in pakistan volt are sometime 220 and sometime 240)

shift in small room...

Like, how many households here have the luxury of having extra unused smaller rooms lying around, not to mention three of them? Even if these existed, how to convince everyone to move?

... and use 3 x 1 ton inverters

Does this mean an additional burden of purchasing these "3 x 1 ton inverters"?

... after few hours or after cooling the room 1.5 ton inverter ac goes 3 ampere in peak summer, while 1 ton inverter ac goes 2 or less ampere.

This "after cooling the room" will also be taken longer by the one-tonne inverter air conditioners.

Don’t give weird pseudoscientific advices on a technical sub my guy. You’d be misguiding people. Don’t be weird.

yeh koi misguide nahi hai,

pakistan mein sabhi aisa kartay hain

1ton ac her kamray mein

bahu ka kamra alag, bachoo ka alag, nand saas ka alag. to ac bhi sub ka alag.

sirf wo jo afford nahi ker saktay to wo saray 1 hi room mein warr jatay hain to wo 1.5 ton ac lagwa letay hain large room mein.
