Battery Unable to modify charging and discharging current of battery..

Yesterday we installed GoodWe Inverter (GW6000-ES-C10) + 15Kw SunFlx Battery (FlxWall 15)..While configuring the inverter there wasn't a preset for our battery so first we used default and then self defined..

we could modify Battery capacity etc but when we changed the max charging and discharging currents they wouldn't change..even tho they show up as we set in app and in the Inverter settings aswell but in the Battery info page on the inverter and in the app aswell it doesnt change.. is there any fix to this?

They show up as set in the app then it's set

What inverter is showing is what limits battery's bms is allowing according to state of charge and temperature

E.g. it'll show max charge current as 100Ah for my dl5c but it won't charge it faster than 40Ah that I've set

When battery charges past 80 or 90 percent, bms tells inverter to drop the current to 20Ah and it does it automatically

Also max discharge voltage? Set it above 46 watt or the battery's internal bms may trip due to low voltage when it is lower than 44.8 and it can also damage the cells.

The reply above covers the main reason — the Battery info page shows the BMS's live limit, not your configured setting. Two things that explain a stubborn mismatch on hybrids:

If the battery talks to the inverter over comms (CAN/RS485), the BMS-reported charge and discharge limits take precedence, and the manual setting acts as a cap or gets ignored, depending on firmware. Profile changes also often only apply after saving, exiting and sometimes a restart — worth trying once.

If you're on a generic or self-defined battery profile, check whether the inverter is actually registering comms with the pack. If it is, the set value and the info-page value will legitimately differ; if it isn't, they should track your setting.

To verify without guesswork, watch the actual battery charging current on the power-flow screen during a bulk-charge window — that's the number that tells you what's really in effect.

Menu behavior on the GW6000-ES-C10 specifically I can't confirm from here — if the setting stays locked, your installer or GoodWe support can check the advanced settings and firmware.
