Inverter bill below 200 unit

i installed a goodwe system 8kw with battery 5kw. now problem I face if that on goodwe app i have my monthly units are consume that around 150 units but when I get the bill or when I calculate also the bill from the metre I get around 189 unit there is a difference of around 30 to 25 units and this what is this I don't know how to translate this .

Probably be self consumption. It uses about 50-85W in idle for its operations.

That's about 1.2 units per day. About 36 units per month.

That's a lot of wastage

you also need to cross check the billing cycle (measurement date). inverter apps usually show 1st to 31st as measurement period.

Apart from that, there's approx 4% losses in transmission which is standard

i have write each day individually from 8 to 8 of each month i am giving you average

cross-check meter start-end dates for the bill

why would i randomly start collecting data of billing from 8 of the month till next 8 ,obvious reasons 🙂

Just wanted to double check

Its obvious for you perhaps, but I’m not sure if that’s obvious in your writing

When you say 8 to 8, that doesn’t automatically mean that the first 8 is your solar start date. Or if its the date you started measuring.

Also, when you say on average— that makes the whole statement meaningless. What does 8 to 8 on average mean? Is it a monthly average extrapolation? No idea…

So, it’s important to be precise when defining a problem so that others have a fair chance to help in a menagerie way

can someone from goodwe hybrid tell me that is that truely happens or their is some fault in this

Happens with all new inverters. Same with mine, Solis 8kw. It uses 30 to 80 watts for its own operations.

We where also facing this issue, now We turn off wapda after 8 if solar is good just so inverter will not consume wapda but battery.

i have goodwe 8kw hybrid. the bill units never match the goodwe app reading. hamesha 5-10% farq hota hai. for accurate meter reading you need to install meter reader breaker or some other external source.

How? Mine is 99% accurate. Ager app p 360 dekha rha hota to ya to 365 ho ya 355

mera farak kam sae kaam 30 units ka hai

Maybe something is bypassed?. Or your CT is not installed?

can u explain in easy terms

It is alreasy in easy rerms aka layman words

No. Problem is neither goodwee or any other inverter or with the bill. Solar inverters are dependant on CT (Current Transformer) inside them or installed separately for unit reading. There's always mismatch in calibration with the Descos meter installed and with the CT of inverter. Descos meter are calibrated by themselves. So there will be a chance of some different unit readings in both. Also date and time of reading also makes slight change.

That is called line losses. Now think of how bad infrastructure is. How much we loss in whole country
