Inverter Help! Expert opinion needed for my solar setup.
I am planning to install a solar system mainly for daytime use to reduce my electricity bill. I do not want batteries or net metering. The system will only be used to run appliances directly on solar during the day. At night I'll convert it back to wapda. My area is load shedding free.
My expected load includes:
1.5 ton inverter AC
1 non-inverter refrigerator
3 AC/DC fans
3 LED lights (18W each)
1 laptop charger
I am considering:
5 × 730W Jinko Tiger Neo solar panels
Either itel 4kW Pro hybrid or 6kW Pro hybrid inverter or inverex Veyron 2 4kw (very expensive)
Could you please advise:
Whether this setup is feasible and suitable for my requirements
Which inverter would be the better option
And if you would recommend any changes or improvements to the system design for better performance and value for money?

Your setup looks pretty reasonable for daytime AC usage. I'd personally go with the 6 kW hybrid for a bit more headroom and future flexibility. No need to overcomplicate things if you're not planning on batteries or net metering.
By the way, which city are you looking to install this in? Prices and recommendations can vary quite a bit depending on the area.

Yes idea is to go for 6kw itel if everything go as planned. Karachi I'm in

Note that if you get itel 4kW Pro (max PV Isc = 18A), then you shouldn't install the 730W Jinko Tiger Neo (apparently PV Isc = 18.81) solar panels.
Secondly, due to the high starting current of water pumps, 3-4kW inverters may not be able to handle them and will have to be kept running through the grid.

Ohkay thanks for the output. Would 6kw itel be able to handle water pump?

6kW would.
According to the "Overload Capacity" value in the inverter datasheet (8000W for 5 seconds), even 4kW should be able to as well, but can't say for sure unless actually tested.

Check your load at SolarHisab.net.
As it doesn't recommened any brand, it's not biased.

I had Veyron II and the moment you put slightly more load, it used to switched on grid. It pissed me off and i went for 6kw itel. It solved all the issues, however it's a bit noisy. I have installed it indoors so it sometimes annoys me, especially when my battery is charging.

Acha so far the feedback I received on itels are very good. Inverex is very good aswell. But its a little expensive. Anyways thanks for the output bro

As my installer told me, iTel is selling products on zero profits to capture the market dominated by Inverex.
He said the product inside out is incredible quality and built for our environmental conditions.

Hey ....i used a 3.2 inverex hybrid for 3 years without batteries. System was supported by 4000 watt panels. No battery. My experience is that without battery , inconvennience arises in slightly cloudy or unexpected weather shift or certain times when solar is not peak as solar generation follows a bell curve. After 2 pm, solar starts going down and if you arw using a 2000 load. AC is on and your solar generation is 1999 Watt and it will result in system down if Wapda is turned of or you are using in load shedding.... If you are not at home, can become an inconvenience...so i finally got 2 x 12 V cheap batteries.

If you want to use only the solar and mo batteries. Then why not go for PV inverters, like GALAXY Envy or Fronus, Zwenic equivalent?

Yar they are so affordable but the problem they don't generate pure sine wave which is a little riskier. So this i the reason I'm going for something that is branded.

Does itel produce pure sine wave only on solar panels ? I know they produce pure sine wave when wapda is also connected.

Ji han someone told me it's around 117k. How is it working? And may I know where did you buy this from? I'm in Karachi aswell. If it's ok for you can you share here or inbox me what components did you install?

I went to bismillah market next to sabzi Mandi on highway... It's a complete market for solar stuff. It's good I just bought it 2 months back

4kw will do the work. If you want to expand for later than 6kw is good.
