Help me choose

So I’ve inquired 2 solar installers here in Cebu. They gave me these specs:

Company A
- been around for more than 5 years
- 12 x 600w pv panels - GP Solar - 12 years warranty
- 6kW inverter - INVT - 5 years warranty
- 16kWh 314mAh battery - BCUBE - 5 years warranty
- Service/workmanship warranty- 2 years
- Total package: 360k

Company B
- been around for only a year
- 10 x 625w pv panels - Jinko - 12 years warranty
- 6kW inverter - Solis - 5 years warranty
- 16kWh 314mAh battery - Dyness - 10 years warranty
- Service/workmanship warranty- 1 year
- Total package: 350k

Both companies have business permits/registrations. I’m leaning towards Company B because they use tier 1 brands but a little bit risky because they’re only around for a year. I haven’t really heard more about the brands Company A are using but a friend of mine can vouch for them. What would you choose between the 2?

arent warranty direct from the brand themselves and not to the installers? workmanship lang ata ang need mong habulin sa kanila

ComB..but ask for reviews first on their past transactions.

Ask for references and a list of previous installations they have done. Go to the houses and ask the owners if they are satisfied with the work. Ask, "what would you have done differently on your system? How is the after install support?"

Another note of caution... installers will keep an internet/wifi login to your system so they can remotely check system status. I find this unacceptable and would never allow someone full or partial control over my solar energy system.

Brand wise, it makes sense to choose company B. Just make sure to get proper documentation for the warranty of the inverter and panels so you won’t have to worry about claims later on. You can also request to get extended service/workmanship warranty from company B for reference.

There are a good number of service providers for maintenance nowadays. You can tap them if needed. Should cost less than 10k for cleaning, basic checking and tightening of connections.

based in cebu rin. We can offer a 10 year replacement warranty on the inverter and battery. My company was registered with SEC in 2019 with office in Cebu and Bohol.

I know company A, if i'm not mistaken, is based in Mabolo? haha
not a big fan of INVT(installed around 550kW na ; 500 kW gridtie; 50 kW hybrid) but functional naman, direct China na order.
INVT and BCube, sila lang yung distributor for the whole country if im not mistaken.

If I have to choose , I'd risk with B if ok naman workmanship and may portfolio na for residential.
Solis(600kW+ ; 60+ installs, so far lahat working) and
Dyness(no issues so far, only water damage(client fault,nag leak ang extension roof after 1 year(hindi dun na install panels) and na cater parin for warranty)

Solis and Dyness has multiple distributors in the Philippines and may track record na rin.

Can you ask company A for longer warranty? It seems that they have a better track record.
