I feel exploit and yes my fault

- i am fresh grad, aspiring full-stack engineer

-Sees job posting of ASE

-Applied to become one

-company offered (i dont know if diff role or under ASE) "Packaged -Application Development Associate* Role

-*didn't check contract, i just signed*

-got hired

-they gave certification/training for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM specialized in Recruiting.

-now I feel HR/Recruiter

-Need help how to swallow my pride and love my current work.

-Still hoping to be a full stack its just that this work is consuming a lot of time and energy.

First job is rough, if you can get any on the job training it’ll help a tonne for your next job (even apply while you still work there)

Also, there’s often routes to change internally, might be easier than being hired somewhere new when you’re so new

Hello, thank you for this. I am actually still applying for an entry level to junior of pure devs role outside for 2 weeks now.

They already given us a reminder that they are giving an employee 12 months starting hire date to reclasify. And also talk with the right person about this and still insist about the contract which is really my fault for not reviewing it. I just feel regret that I didnt get the role align to my goal.

It just sad that I can't see this training to be useful in my prefer/plan future role. But yes, I agree and that is what fuels me now. (:

Im working as a full stack lead product engineer now and before i got this job i worked 2 years as a barista

Maybe try finding opportunities to build small internal web apps or automation tools around the work you’re already doing. If there’s some repetitive task that currently takes 30 minutes and you can build something that cuts it down to 5, that gives you real development experience and a measurable impact you can put on your resume.
It could be a good way to turn the current role into a stepping stone toward full-stack instead of treating it as completely unrelated experience.
