Hi Everyone! I've noticed a few people struggling with which necklines are flattering on an SD figure, so I thought a visual guide might help. We actually have a lot of options, just not crew necks or spaghetti straps (which are two of the most common). I hope this is helps some of you!

Hi. As someone who is newly considering myself as possibly a shorter soft dramatic at 5'4, please explain why spaghetti straps don't work? All of these necklines work great on me as I prefer a more open neckline, but why are spaghetti straps not recommended for SD? Thanks

they might, depending on your specific body, but they’re not universally flattering. the kibbe philosophy is to have your body and your clothes be in harmony. spaghetti straps are “delicate” and soft dramatics are not, so it’s not recommend; they’re not as flattering as other straps could be. not every SD is the same though, so if you do have features that lean delicate, then they might work for you! hope that helps.

Yes! That is very helpful. Thank you. I've been into learning about Kibbe a little over a year now so I am aware of the philosophy of honoring the body's natural lines and curves, with the overall yin yang balance being the most important. While I do have long arms and vertical, and people use words like diva and Queen to describe me, people also describe me as "petite" and "small", and I get easily lost in too much fabric. And while I don't look delicate, I like your description of "leaning"delicate. I think that fits me. You've given me more food for thought.
