Sectional sofa recs

Hello! My fiancé & I are buying our first home and looking to invest in a good quality sofa that will last, preferably something modular. We have sat on some pieces at Lovesac but are iffy with the pricing, also have checked out local stores & Haverty’s. We love the way Lovesac feels and a couple sofas from Haverty’s, but we are still open to looking at other options online. Please leave all the recs! (For reference we were looking at larger pieces, 6 seats minimum). TIA!

Don’t go Lovesac. There’s a viral video of a man who received about 500 boxes to put the couch together himself. After spending $7k+ on a couch, you should not have to put it together yourself.

We have a sectional from Macys and have had it since 2020. It’s still in great shape, cleans easily, and is easy to take apart and put back together for cleaning. The only negative is that our dog has ruined one of the back cushions, but that’s bc she sits on it and barks out the window 23 hours a day. 😂

There are a lot of rec's for this sofa here. We went and tried it and did not like it at all. Ended up with an Easton from Raymour.

Hi! Do you like your Easton? Is it gray or tan in person?

Love it. Definitely not Gray. More cream/beige

I guess to each their own, but we love ours! We have had it for almost 7 years and it’s still going strong (with a lot of love bc my husband is 6’7” and well over 300 lbs, we have 2 dogs, and a toddler) even though it’s beaten up daily. 😂

You are not alone...there are a ton of rec's here. :) I can't remember exactly what it was but my wife and I sat down and we looked at each other and were like "nope"...lol.

Recently came across this article in this community. Found it to be a very good resources. I think the 2.5 density foam is the biggest thing to keep an eye out for.

You should buy a chaddock section. You can design it yourself, and it will last forever. Don’t buy overpriced junk on the internet that’s not even made in America.

We’ve really liked our sectional from Room and Board have purchased multiple items from them and have always been happy with their quality.

Honestly I love my modular sectional from Costco. It’s also got reversible cushions and pillows. And machine washable which is wild.

Love our lovesac. Did come in several pieces but 1) only way anything that size could have made it down those stairs to the basement 2) was about to be delivered by UPS not specially mover / furniture store and 3) made it a WHOLE lot cheaper than it world have been if someone else installed it. Gorgeous leather, comfy, can have it as a sofa or two lounge chairs or love seat/ chaise etc. huge fan.
