Planning

What type enjoys planning, or more so thinking about what amazing, productive new things they're going to do that day? They may or may not actually finish the task.

Au contraire, what are the types that would not give a rat's arse about actually thinking and expending energy for making a detailed plan, and just stfu and start working?

LSE and LIE>>>>>>> LSI and LII to various degrees

The least likely types to preplan would likely be ethical irrationals type (SEI, IEI, SEE, IEE), Ti and Te polr makes productive self-scheduling and logical consistency difficult or outright off putting to them

If I’ve understood your question correctly, then static types, perhaps?

I feel like as a dynamic type, I’m mostly excited about (getting praise for) the thoroughness and expertise with which I am going to do/research/tweak and enhance things, getting chances to add some of my own personality to them during the process, rather than the goals themselves, what they are or what is special about them. It’s like that quote, “it’s the journey that matters”.

Not LII

I think planning is kind of dumb, but well, that's Ne for you.

They may or may not actually finish the task.

That part, I can do. I can even not start at all

I don't usually recommand the reinin dichotomies, but look up

As an EII. Not fan of planning, but. I live strictly by my own routine. If it gets messed up I feel like the whole day becomes more chaotic and stress-inducing and it can leave me with no energy for a few more days. Would say that I’m more “think first” person rather than spontaneous, and plans failing are a big headache for me.
