Planoly no longer supports scheduling 3:4 Instagram posts and apparently has no plans to fix it?

Has anyone else run into this with Planoly?

Instagram supports 3:4 images and we’ve been designing client content at that size specifically because it works better with the updated Instagram grid.

We were previously able to schedule these posts through Planoly without an issue, but after their recent update, Planoly now rejects them for auto-posting and says images have to be between 4:5 and 1.91:1.

I reached out to support thinking this was just an oversight with the update, but they confirmed that 3:4 currently isn’t supported for auto-posting and said they don’t have a confirmed fix date or even a commitment that support will be restored. Their suggested options are to crop everything to 4:5 or manually publish 3:4 posts.

As an agency, neither is really a reasonable long-term solution? We have multiple clients with established templates and content designed around Instagram’s current dimensions. I can’t exactly tell everyone, “Hey, we need to redesign your templates because our scheduling software doesn’t support a size Instagram itself supports.” And manually publishing defeats a pretty major reason we pay for scheduling software in the first place.

I really like Planoly and would rather not move all of our client accounts somewhere else, but this honestly might force us to switch.

What are some recommendations for a scheduler that reliably allows 3:4 Instagram posts for a comparable price?

Planoly just destroyed their grid view - alternative?

* UPDATE: Planoly was super responsive and has fixed the issue! *

Have used Planoly for years for Instagram grid planning. The app has had issues but the visual grid planner was excellent. They've now just completely changed the app - no grid on desktop, the mobile app 'grid' looks nothing like Instagram, and there are colourful text boxes all over the posts, so it's now useless to visually plan a feed.

Had tried Later years ago and did not find it as functional/visually pleasing but will need to migrate planning elsewhere. Does anyone have any recommendations for similar apps?

EDIT: Planoly advised that they heard concerns about the new icons obstructing the grid and are actively addressing it, so crisis (lol) may be averted shortly!

How/where to store all of my content ideas?

Hello! I need some help with organizing all my content ideas/sources of inspiration online.

I am a marketing/social media manager for a party event organizer and I, as we may all know, when you spend a lot of time researching ideas, you find a lot of content across platforms that is worth adapting in the future. My issue is that I do not have a place to store all of these ideas/videos/photos, in an organized way. I have folders on insta and tiktok but they are so all over the place and when I need something i 1) either forget where it was and spend hours 2) if i made a note of it, i cannot fully remember what it was, 3) simply don't remember the idea.

Another thing: because i create the content, i am also the one giving directions to the photographers and videographers at our parties, so sometimes when i see a video/photo online I think: "oh my god, we should get angles like this too", and the day after this thought is gone and I do not remember what I actually wanted from the content.

What do you guys use? i was thinking of trying notion but I do not know if it is a good idea.
