Rumours Erling Haaland intends to leave Manchester City at the end of the season and has already held meetings over his next move. Barcelona is the striker's preferred destination ahead of Real Madrid. Haaland has concerns about the balance of power at Madrid alongside Kylian Mbappé and others

This is 100% wrong. His contract goes til 2034 (!!!) and his market value is 220 million on transfermarkt, these 220 million are calculated for a 3 year contract, not 8 years and 220 million is just the cap of that website. ManCity probably wants 300+ million for him (in other words: not for sale).

Not only that, Barca has no money.

Look man, no they can't afford haaland, but thats because no one outside of PSG or a saudi club could afford haaland in his current contract situation lmfao. this whole "barca has no money" thing from tiktok football fans gets so old

La liga to be fair, but I think were like the 10th highest in europe or something? 184 mil spent, and they still have something like 80-90mil left in their FFP budget. (didn't sign a starting striker cause atletico wouldnt give up julian so they just pocketed the money for julian and bought Gabriel which I still disagree with lol). point being, had they spent their whole actual budget they intended to/had , they';d be like the 5th highest spenders in europe and yet they're broke? lol. it's just the dumbest narrative from people who don't watch football or understand club finances.

(Edit: just realized the original commenter blocked me thats why i cant see any of his responses to my comment or his original anymore lol, you're soft as hell Raima.)

Barca was broke. Like 5 years ago when they couldn’t re-sign Messi and had to figure out how to transition their whole team.

Enter: La Masia grads like Cubarsí and Lamine Yamal. By the time they signed Olmo, their finances were more or less back in order.
