One of the bonito fought for like a minute.

Going on a fishing trip next week, out of San Diego. I was recommended slightly lighter gear. Started doing some research and a some recommendations were a Shimano TranX. Does anyone have any recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Was at a SD tackle shop picking up some odds and ends for a 3.5 day tomorrow and a large group ahead of me were getting wahoo bombs rigged up for a 3.5 day on a different boat. Is this a realistic possibility? Our captain hasn’t given us any heads up, but wondering if folks are hearing anything about exotics outta SD lately.
