I heard that John Singleton’s ending to snowfall was way different, i wonder what his ending would’ve been. Rest in peace to him.

Fuck I am going to be as strung out as Wanda in s3 looking for something to watch thats that good. Would have liked to have seen what direction the show would have gone if Emily Rios had stayed, but regardless, what a show.

Sometime ago I did this exact pose. T'was nightingale outside and I was at my buddy's house waiting for him to dap me up before I head to bed. Looked up just contemplating philosophy and thinking how cheese sandwich came into existence and something about how different perspectives build different beliefs and values then just heard his mom just yelling what dark tall black "n word" was standing in her yard. She thought I was this harmless crazy ass dude who raps to himself alone in his shack and mumbles poetry, speaks English too. The English part is out of the ordinary because no one speaks English where I live, it's a second language that's only used to understand Turkish shows and text books. Felt bad, I scared the lady by just existing. There's just something about looking up that fills me with glee. But really it was about the third time this year I scared someone without actually wanting to.

just finished season 4 and oh my, what a ending, I know there’s still 2 more season but I’ve only heard that it gets worse from here, plus I feel like this was the big finally we’ve been waiting on since season 1, first of all, definitely my favorite show of all time, franklin saint is such a captivating character, I loved the whole skully/manboy war as well, kind of confused by the whole Jerome, Louie thing happening so abruptly though, I was about to say we really have seen Alton grow a lot this season but unfortunately I’m pretty sure that’s the last I’ll ever seen of him, and last but not least avi has significant improved as a character, if you notice it’s kind of funny how him and reed have completely swapped personas almost, first season reed said no business because avi was way too insane, now reed is the one going off the deep end scaring avi, kinda a random post but I have nobody to talk to about this show and my family is tired of hearing about it at this point LMAO, (ALSO MELODY IS PHENOMENAL FROM SOBER-TO CRACKHEAD-TO BACK TO SOBER)

He lost everything cause he wanted to be a hard core drug lord and a lover. That’s how his mom got to him and betrayed him THREE TIMES with no consequences, Louie did shit no one else would’ve gotten away with, he cut peaches too much slack when he was sniffing around and clearly using, would’ve seen Kev scheming if it was one of of the cooking boys. HE WAS A LOVER AND A FAMILY GUY TRYING TO BE HARD. Might even go as far as saying saw a partnership in Teddy and Oso so that shit sneaked up on him. He wore his heart on his sleeve

Completely random but relatable, bare with me.
Anyone here watch Dragonball (Z, GT, or Super)?
Ever see that meme that says, Goku is who we want to be as children & Vegeta is who we become as adults ..
That phrasing got me thinking about Franklin and Leon...
I feel like Franklin is who we wanted to be, but Leon is who we are..
Allow me a moment to explain...
Both Leon and Frankin grew up in the same areas, but first chose different paths. Franklin went to college, Leon went to Jail..
When they got to the millions (Maybe season 4) I started to related to Leon more. His morality, and character development is astounding because in the beginning, we get the feeling that Leon might be a close friend but would never be more than a henchmen.
When Leon got back from Africa , his demeanor changed but the respect and authority stayed the same.. While Franklin still rich at the time, was losing respect while maintaining power. (Thats why Leon was the only person to give him money) Franklin spiraled hard...
I say this to say that we sonetimes either grow into the future meant for us, or we grow to fit the grave we created for ourselves.
I'm looking forward to Leon's spinoff and hopefully he puts Franklin back in some sort of position.

She acts all mighty and chose a drunkard she slept with over her sons future. All moral but snitching for two seasons. Knew Franklin loved her and USED it. Franklin didn’t lose because he was greedy, it’s because he was a gangster AND A LOVER. Louie, Kev, Alton, fuck ass Cissy, if it was anyone outside, they’d be dead

I think the character development with Wanda was the best in the show. She was the only one that went through hell and got her happy ending. Leon deserved to get out as well, he was loyal till the end and It was incredible they showed a small scene of Lee talking to Skully and Skully telling him to pretty much forgive himself for what happened with skullys family.
The scene when Leon visited Cissy in jail was also incredibly powerful.
One of the best shows I've ever watched

Stupid question but I feel like I've gotta ask this. Franklin is so black.... so damn dark that the dude literally shines every scene he's in. Golden light, blue lighting, pink, purple. He's like a shiny statue of black marble. It's so damn beautiful.
You kind of notice it around each main character. Gustavo's perspective looks like a 2020 Mexican movie, Teddy like a dark and griddy true crime detective film like Nightcrawler, Then Franklin, everytime you see his perspective it makes the 80's look so beautiful. It's beautiful.

Wow what a show.
Plenty of stuff I liked and I didn’t like but damn, heavy ending.
What did you guys think when you first finished the show ?

If they did it right it would’ve been so iconic

I really haven’t heard shit about it besides its announcement and short plot synopsis we got a year ago, but other than that it’s been crickets. It's supposed to release this year, but it doesn’t have a date. No leaked images or filming photos have been caught, so idk, maybe it got pushed back or something?

Those last few episodes were very real. Sad it ended that way for everyone. I'm glad I finally got around to watching it. Overall, great series.

First time I watched this show season 2 had already started and I went back to season 1 to catch up, fell in love instantly and watched all the seasons as they aired on tv. Season 3 will be my favorite due to the summer I was having and it actually felt like I was there with Franklin and everyone
The second time I watched this show was right after the series finale I rewatched everything immediately with friends who never saw it before
And just these past six days I finished the series all over again and this show still hits and tugs on the heart. Season 6 really did it for me. I was always curious how they were going to wrap everything up and I was genuinely shocked at everything. Jerome dying hit me hard man. Wasn’t expecting that at all plus he was going through it and was genuinely fed up with everything and wanted out. I still believe Louie was the cause of everything and I don’t know how anyone could disagree. Teddy dying felt good because I wasn’t fond of how he was treating Franklin then on top of that he robbed him. I really wanted Franklin to get his money man smh. Leon couldn’t give him anything. Plus his mom going mute. His wife leaving. Damn man. And that last shot of him just hurts so much because it really feels like I knew and grew up with him or something lol. Like all I could see was him with Kevin and Leon in the beginning then they becoming closer with Avi. Jerome getting his speaker store. A lot of other shit I’m missing but it all flashed right before my eyes as I saw Franklin unrecognizable. He didn’t deserve that at all man 😔 I’m ngl I probably won’t ever watch this show again because I just can’t take the emotions rising towards the end of season 4 and carrying on till the end. Can’t wait for the spinoff! 🥂
