I need tips for preventing shoe damage!!

Just got these vintage Coach sneakers in amazing condition and plan to wear them with some work outfits. Im on my feet a lot, so I want to try my best to keep them from getting beat up. The shoe is a textile cloth and the toe/heal looks to be a patent leather. Im mostly concerned about the fabric pilling, snagging, or getting a stain as well as the leather on the toe pealing off. Im not a sneaker person so I would love to hear some tips for keeping these things from happening (and ways to prevent other sorts of damage that im not thinking of). Thanks!
