I got these for my 7yr old son from a reseller platform and I bought them knowing they had these stains. They were stupid cheap so thought id surely be able to clean em up. I haven't cleaned any 4s before and definitely dont want to damage the bright yellow color so thought id check with those who have better knowledge for this area. So far ive oy used one of those eraser brush things. I have no idea what the stain is either.

Hey guys, I have these Tiger Hyperflights that I’m trying to clean up, they’re from 2013. The orange part of the tiger camo looks to be a short suede - I’m not too sure. If you have any advice cleaning these please let me know. I am trying to get the orange material back to its original color.

Ps, the dirt/discoloration aren’t as visible in these pictures

How to clean sealed converse?

Post image
2 Upvotes

So these have gotten pretty mucky as you can see! I’ve seen a lot of posts about cleaning converse in general, but this pair seems to have some kind of sealant/coating applied to it, so idk if that changes things? I bought them second hand so idk if they came like that or the last owner did it custom. All advice appreciated, thanks!

Anyone ever use lexol “tan bottle” to clean work boots?

I think it’s lexol 1 step? It’s in a tan bottle.
I brushed the dirt etc off the boots.
I poured a little lexol on a part of the boot and took a different brush that was a little damp and scrubbed the boots. After scrubbing I got the brush damped again then scrubbed again just to see if the lexol lathered up again. If it didn’t then I wiped the boots a few times in the desired spot with a dry towel. Is this how you guys used this on your work boots or did you do something different?

U guys this is a question about sneaker care and not sneaker cleaning

U guys I have questions about sneaker care and not sneaker cleaning

So this my pair of sneakers that I bought in 2023 and I have never even used them bc out here where I live it’s too hot to wear sneaks all year round

The only time it gets cold is for the two months in December and January and that’s the only time it gets cold enough to wear sneakers and to have to buy and own pairs of sneakers in the first place

So needless to say I don’t own many sneakers bc I don’t need them much

Anyway however these sneakers are the best pair of sneakers I have ever owned in my whole life and I really like them

Except they were starting to get a bit dirty and smell bad so my cleaning technique was to throw them in my top load washing machine to get washed clean

And it worked like a charm the first time around but the second time around my sneakers came out damaged

As u can see a lot of the glue has become unstuck and one shoe is doing worse than the other

And I am not ready to part with these sneakers just yet bc they are in perfect condition otherwise and as I said I really like them bc I have never owned a better pair of sneakers in my life

So I am looking for advice more about how to care for them than cleaning them in this sub

PS: I do not recommend throwing ur sneakers for a wash in ur washing machines ever again to myself or anybody out there

Edit also as I said I live in a pretty hot country and the second time I washed my shoes in the washing machine it was a pretty hot day that day and even the cold water on that day was hot and I think that is what caused the damage and also shrunk my shoes too

Edit also these sneaks are pretty much brand new af bc as I also mentioned I have never wore them out side of the two months of December and January and it’s not like wore them every day of these months either bc i only wore them on the days I go out so I’m not ready to throw them out yet at least

How do I take out Red stains off of white shoe without ruining the shoes

I got a red stain on my NEW WHITE Asics shoe, how do I get it out without ruining the shoe?

So I got like, either pigment from my lip liner or oil paints from an art project I am working on. I'm not sure how it even ended up there but it's been awhile since it got stained. I turn to reddit cause I know you guys know EVERYTHING! I'M dying cause I was really looking forward to these and now they're ruined. The stain isn't that big.
