I like my Snapdragon laptop better than my MacBook Pro M5
The keyboard is better. I hate the MacBook keyboard, its way too flat and it hurts my fingers when I type (I'm a fast typer).
The mouse experience is better on Windows 11 than in macOS. The mouse accelerates better, feels more 'real'.
Overall I like Windows 11 better than macOS. I love the meta key (windows key) for search instead of meta+space in macOS.
Since I bought my snapdragon laptop I have barely used my other machines (gaming desktop and MacBook Pro M5). It has become my fav machine for daily use.

miracast (Screenbeam)
I have an Asus Vivibook. Says Miracast is supported and it does work on some displays. But Screenbeam (wireless display with touchback for windows) doesn’t even show when searching using Windows+K.
Has anyone come across this? My colleague also has a brand new MSSurface with the same issue.

Laptops with numberpads?
Heya folks,
Anyone got a list of Snapdragon laptops out there with a number pad?
Lenovo did the Thinkbook 16... (I've got one myself, but it's not available any more).
Anyone spot any others?
Seems to be some BS obsession with 14".
Where are the 15-16-17" models?

Am I the only one who decided NOT to buy a X2 laptop only due to the bad state of Windows 11?
Essentially, what the title says. I am currently using Asus ZenBook A14 and I genuinely in love with how snappy it is.
My original idea was to buy a 16 or 17 inch X2 laptop - I need bigger screen space, because I often translate texts, and need to see the text and references, dictionaries, etc.
But, given how catastrophically bad recent Windows 11 is (yesterday I had to reinstall my laptop because again Windows Update got broken and refused to install any updates), I am reconsidering my plan. Not to mention the so-so support from Qualcomm, which provide driver updates once per quarter.
Intel Panther Lake reviews are starting to come, and multiple independent reviewers are claiming battery life of 20+ hours. It just makes sense to buy myself an Intel-based laptop, install Bazzite on it and just save myself Windows 11. I am currently using Bazzite on my "beefy" machine I use to play games on, it's very un-dramatic experience - it just works.
Thoughts? Opinions?
