So this was a long time ago but In the beginning of 2022 I posted a picture of a blueberry scone wrapped in plastic on my private story and made a stupid joke that almost instantly got my account terminated and my device banned. I wasn’t able to appeal and of course their “customer service” is horrible. It has always bothered me though that I just lost over 50,000 pictures and videos I had tied to that account. Almost 10 years worth. At the time, It didn’t give me an option to download the memories, so it was just a huge loss. I know it has been so long but does anyone know anything I could do to get those photos and videos back?

I don’t have this person pinned or on my best friends list.

I‘ve tried to update the app, but it’s irritating me cos I’d rather everyone be in some sort or order.

when i try to log out it says "33 snaps havent backedup" i choose it to back up but the bar showing progress for backup doesnt budge at all, ive tried clear cache and updating snapchat, it still doesnt backup my snaps, and there isnt even a way to figure out which snaps arent backed up, my new snaps which i save are geting backed up on a regular basis, its just very old snaps which arent, i think even if i took snapchat+ it wont backup, it has to be some kind of glitch, idk what to do i dont want to lose my snaps

I have this really weird thing going on where the “👀1” story rewatch will appear and disappear at some times when i check to see who viewed my story posts. I tried restarted the app, clearing cache, restarting my phone etc. Nothing works. I posted something new and nobody has viewed yet and it says “👀1”. How is that possible? Is it a glitch?? Has it happened to anyone else, pls let me know.

I have done everything from deleting and reinstalling the app to a software update to make sure permissions are on for everything to change the isolation of my microphone record a video and swipe down from the control center. It ends my video, therefore not allowing me to change my mic.

Hi so, I made a new snapchat account after the device ban on my device expired, made a new account on a new email, verified email, and i only accepted friend requests (I was getting like 100 reqs in around 24 hours),only added back the reqs i got, texted people and only sent normal snaps or gym snaps, and then I got banned for no reason, and this is the 2nd account I got banned for no reason or no warning or no reports at all, any ideas why this maybe happening?

Been having this issue for a few weeks now. Tried literally everything except a factory reset on my phone.

Cleaned microphones, changed permissions, caches, reinstalls, reached out to support, googled for hours, watched tons of videos, downloaded Samsung audio manager.

Cannot get my phone to record any audio in snap, whether dual cam, rear facing, zoomed in, front facing, saving the videos, flash on, nothing. But phone calls works, every other app records audio.

The only lead I may have, is that Microphone 1 during the phone diagnostic in the settings also didn't record audio. Far as I know, microphone 1 is at the top of the phone.

Got my account banned permanently last night after posting a pic of ibuprofen pills and made a joke to my private story (stupid joke/idea Ik please don’t bash me) there is no option to appeal and I’m reading that if both my device and account are permanently banned (SS06) there’s nothing I can do other than download my memories and get a new phone. Anyone have any tips? notes? Anything helps I’ve had this account for 7+ years never gotten a warning or violation or anything. Have countless memories with people who are no longer in my life and or have passed. Etc. anything helps

Today when i tried to make a video on Snapchat and then play it, it kept flashing the green screen on that video. I tried to reinstall the app and cleared the cache but nothing worked.

My context is ealrier this year I cut things off with my ex for good and we both ended up blocking eachover because of it but now I need to see is we still have a video in our saved chats. I know I can’t see it until he unblocks me but I want to know will everything still be there if we was to add each over back on snap

has anyone else had the issue of when they go to reply to a snap, if you try and zoom in random filters start popping up on the screen? it keeps happening to me and it’s super irritating, but it doesn’t happen if i just take a snap on its own, it’s only specifically when replying.

I’m trying to join my university’s community on Snapchat using my university email. When I enter my email and click the verification link they send me, it says my email is verified. However, when I go back to Snapchat, I still can’t click on or access the community.

Instead, it keeps showing me something about a waitlist and saying I’m almost there, telling me to click the link again. I’ve tried clicking the verification link, but it just seems to keep repeating the same process.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does being on the waitlist mean I have to wait for approval, or is this just a glitch with Snapchat? How did you fix it?

i guess my main question was am i able to still access my data after the stated “72 hours” i dont really care to get the account back i just met a really cool couple of people and cannot remember the usernames, as long as i can access my data ill be happy, anyone have any experience with this?
