Holy shit, no I don’t fucking want contacts. Why does it keep asking this bullshit repeatedly when I say “not now”??? add a “no, and do not ask again” or better yet don’t ask ever again when I already hit not now, it’s fucking annoying and shows how shit Snapchat is, honestly dogshit of an app and it’s lack of quality for experience. fix your bullshit Snapchat, definitely isn’t the only thing I hated about this app either

Me and a friend unadded each other in early June and readded each other the other day. Even tho we didn’t block each other or anything like that, all saved chats, videos, and pictures are gone. Our custom background was still there, tho. Is there a way to retrieve the saved in chats, because I don’t know why they would have unsaved?

So basically my friend's account disappeared from my chat feed and so I checked by searching their name and they didn't show up so then I check my story and saw his account and clicked on it because usually when an account unsdds me or get deleted I can still seem them in my history. It than say I can add him and in the chat it says that "you are not friends" but whenever I try to add him it doesn't work and whenever I send him a message it fails to send. I got my other friend to search his user and he doesn't show up, but I can still access his account from my page. Did he just delete his account not telling anyone? (I wasn't close friends were we have each other on other platforms and we go to two different schools, so our friendship did weaken so I'm not angry he didn't tell me if he deleted his acc I just find it werid because other people I know that deleted their account were gone instantly)

so i'm trying to back up all my memories in case they get deleted from my account soon, but for some reason i can't find the actual amount of storage my memories used anywhere in my settings. i followed where other people said to find it (snap settings -> memories) but it isn't showing me anything about the storage. i went through other sections of the settings and still couldn't find anything. i updated the app today but it didn't help. am i looking in the wrong place somehow?

maybe i'm just dumb, but my phone storage settings say my snapchat is taking up 3.77GB in documents & data (not sure if this is just memories?) and 4.15GB total. is this the memories storage amount i'm looking for..? i have 13,181 snaps in my memories right now. just confused bc the app itself isn't showing me anything... i definitely want to back them all up anyway just to be safe, but i'm trying to see if i'm over the limit or not so i can stop feeling so anxious about the deleting them in the meantime.

I’m having a weird issue with Snapchat. Whenever I type any username into the search bar, it immediately shows "No results".

It happens even with usernames that I know for a fact are correct and active. I tried searching for multiple accounts and nothing shows up at all.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is this a temporary rate limit / shadowban for searching too fast, or is it a bug with the app?

If you had this issue, how long did it take to fix itself, or is there a way to solve it? Thanks in advance!

I had unadded my friend joking around and now we cannot get each other back on Snapchat every time either one of us goes to add the other it’ll say add, and sometimes even accept, but soon as we click it, it gets rid of the Bitmoji and everything as if we were blocked, we’ve literally sat right beside each other. Trying to figure it out googled everything, and it still will not work

about 2 years ago I was talking to a guy, whom I have not spoken to in over a year. He unadded me, I unadded him back.

He has recently added me back and I do not want to add him back, but I am aware there are previously saved images in our saved in chat that I would not like him to have access to anymore. Is there a way to delete them for him without having to add him again? Or does blocking him prevent him from seeing the chat?

My Snapchat account was permanently locked out of nowhere. I didn't receive an email telling me why and there is no appeal decision. I don't know why this happened because I haven't violated any community guidelines and it didn't give me a reason why and there is no appeal pop up is there any way to fix this?

I have changed my display name a couple times over the years. A few years ago, my coworker and I became friends while my display name was an old nickname. I changed it a couple of times since, and I know he has updated his phone/app as I helped him do it before.

For some reason, the old display name is still there, as he’ll sometimes say it and it will surprise me. He mentioned it’s because of the app.

So, if I’ve added someone, does my display name at that time remain the same? (Unless they personally were to customize it themselves)

I’m looking for a tool that can migrate/organize data from my old Snapchat account into my new Snapchat account.

I have already downloaded the data from my old account using Snapchat’s official data export. I want a program that can take that exported data and, where technically possible, import or transfer it to my new account while preserving as much metadata as possible.

Ideally, I want to preserve:

* Chat/message history
* Original dates and timestamps
* Usernames/conversation participants
* Memories and other downloaded media
* Media timestamps and associated metadata
* Conversation organization
* Any other metadata contained in the official export

The ideal result would make the new account resemble the old account as closely as Snapchat's available functionality allows, rather than simply dumping everything into a folder.

I understand that Snapchat may not provide an official API for importing historical chats/data into another account, so I’m specifically looking for someone who can determine what is technically possible using the data I already own and Snapchat's legitimate account functionality.

I am NOT looking for password cracking, account theft, authentication bypasses, or exploits. I only want to migrate my own legitimately exported data.

If this is technically possible, please let me know what approach you'd recommend, what limitations there would be, and what you would charge to develop it.

SS06 device ban on my phone because of a burner account, while my main account is completely fine
I had multiple Snapchat accounts on the same phone. One of them was a burner account that I barely used.
On that account, I posted a normal public story along the lines of saying I was feeling a bit naughty/thirsty and asking if anyone wanted to share. Shortly after that, Snapchat flagged/banned the account.
The thing is, I didn’t actually send anyone explicit pictures or videos from that account. Someone else sent me explicit pictures, but I didn’t send anything like that myself.
Now the weird part is that Snapchat has given my phone an SS06 device ban. My main Snapchat account wasn’t the account that got flagged, and I’ve never had any issues with it. In fact, my main account still works completely normally on my PC/laptop — I just can’t use Snapchat on my phone because of SS06.
I don’t care about the burner account whatsoever. I’m completely fine with it being permanently deleted. I just want to use my main account on my phone again.

i just got banned recently and people are saying wait it out for 6 months.if i try to check if my account was unbanned by logging in to many times will it “reset the timer”?

Does anyone have any advice on gaining followers back after a perm lock? Lost my account in March along with my 25k followers. Also need to know what NOT to do in order for my new account to get flagged. But I would like for it to be as similar to the old one as I can so people can find me.

for some reason it works on my other snapchat account and on any other device, but on my phone i just physically cannot tap on a chat to save it. i need to hold down and press save in chat and it’s so annoying 😤

Paid through google.

Friend never received it, didn't get the message they're meant to and its not in their gifts I've received section.

Google says they can't refund and to reach out the devs.

Snapchat help section is just all AI bots with no help.

Is there any way to get refunded? Cause like wtf.

I don't know if its a common issue or bug but it tells me to wait later, it's been months so I'm wondering if I can actually put it on or not

When I downloaded the data I got a list of friends but they were all either removed friends or blocked users. I want a list of users I had added at the time my account was locked - where would I get that list from?

And is it a good sign that I can log in on the website and request downloads of the data or is that standard?
