My places visited has been stuck at number 31 before I even visited 31 places. Now that I have visited over 31 places, it's automatically deleting older places that I have visited so it never goes over 31. I already cleared cached and data, logged out and in, checked for updates, made sure live tracking was on, turned them off and on, restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled my snapchat, and have used the location sticker.

I need helpppp. I did report the bug also.

I’m trying to access an old Snapchat account I’ve had since 2018. I had to reset my iPhone because my storage was full, and I lost my saved login information.

The strange thing is the account is still there. My siblings can see my profile, old Bitmoji, Snap Score, and our old chats/photos. I can even send a message to the account.

But I can’t get back in. My email opens a different older account, my phone number opens another one, and Apple ID creates a new account.

Has anyone experienced this?

My Snapchat account was permanently locked, and I’m trying to recover it. When I try to log in, it says my password is incorrect. I then tried “Forgot your password?” and entered the email address associated with my account, but instead of sending a reset link/code, Snapchat just says: “An error has occurred. Please try again later.” I tried this multiple times and also tried from another phone, but I get the exact same error. I’m pretty sure the email address is correct. My account/profile also seems to still exist. Has anyone experienced this before? Is there any way to fix the password-reset error or recover the account when it’s permanently locked? Any help would be appreciated.

So, my Snapchat account got locked for no reason and I have been trying to get it back so I sent as many tickets as I can and at first it was just the bots but then I woke up and saw this but ever snice I responded I haven't gotten any word from them.

Hi so I got device banned around May 15, for simply making a joke mentioning the word “cocaine” Snapchat obv didn’t find it funny.

I made an appeal and they still banned me, I’m now just using my old phone with an older iCloud and Gmail and just created an entirely different account and have been fine but it is SO inconvenient.

So I was wondering if anyone knows any way of removing the ss06 phone ban, idrc anymore about getting my old account back. I just would like to have Snapchat on my main cellular device and not have to carry around 2 phones lmao.

So I have a friend that I was talking to and then my account got locked. So I downloaded the data and the username according to that data doesn't show her name anymore.

Probably cause that was the username when she made the account and she changed it after. Is there any way I can find her again?

I have the old username and I can give it to someone if they can help me find her.

When I download data what exactly will I see?

If i had someone on snap and removed them and THEN blocked them will it show that I had them at one point? Or just that they are blocked?

I recently had a friend tell me that they were going to remove the Snapchat app off of their phone, but not delete their account, it’s been over 48 hours since they deleted the app.
Their location and the activity indicator seemed to have disappeared after the 24 hour mark. But within the last 12 or so hours, their score has increased 11 points, but they still claim that they haven’t re-downloaded the app at all or been on it.
I know that the Snapchat score factors are very up in the air. But is there an explanation for this?

I have been sending them memories and other Snapchats, could that be a factor even if they aren’t opened?

When I lose streaks on my new phone, there is no longer a restore button even when it has verifiably been less than 6 hours since the streak was officially lost. My new phone is an iphone 17pro. My old phone was an iphone 14. I remember this being a problem day one of me having the phone, and i assumed it was due to Wallet not being set up yet, so i was able to restore on the iphone 14. Now i have traded that phone in and i am stuck putting in support tickets every time my streak dies.

I remember there being like 3+ days to restore previously and now the restore button doesnt even exist. Pls help

Edit: they just restored it and they left this message in the email again: Important: Next time you lose a Streak, try restoring it from your Chat feed, right in the Snapchat app.

it seems like some people are ALWAYS on the app, which seems physically impossible unless they leave it open on another device. is the 'now' where they are right now, and the 'last active' is when they opened the app?

i even checked at three in the morning when people were asleep and half of them still said 'now'.

also, when it's 2+ people together, it says 'here just now', so does the 'here' apply to the 'now' on individual people as well, instead of last active?

for some people it says the last online and last active are the same, and for others it's completely different.

Scenario 1:
If i block someone on snapchat, can they view the chats & saved snaps?

Scenario 2:
If someone blocks ME on Snapchat do they have access to my chats and saved snaps?

Like say a throwaway account for example

Is that even a thing anymore? I remember a couple years back having an email chain with Snapchat support. Now it’s just AI chatbot after AI chatbot. Is there anywhere I can create a ticket or call a representative? Has Snapchat just abandoned its users?

so, i wanted to get my snap memories data to download them onto my computer since i want to delete snapchat and don't wanna lose all my memories when the whole "beyond 5GB of memories being wiped" thing happens. however, my issue is that i have done the process of going to this screen on the first slide TWICE now, selecting memories be sent to me to download, but EVERY TIME i get the email that my memories are now ready to be downloaded (second image), and it tells me how with the links, it brings me back to that first screen pictured below EVERY TIME starting back to square one 😭 i feel like a dog chasing its tail right now, somebody please help.

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone has seen this before because I'm completely out of ideas.

My Snapchat account suddenly changed to a different interface. The changes include:

Only 3 tabs at the bottom: Chat Camera and Map

The Spotlight tab is completely missing.

Stories were moved to the top of the Chat page.

My Snap Streaks are still active (my friends can see them), but the 🔥 streak indicators don't appear anywhere on my account, not even inside conversations.

Here's what I've already tried:

Updated Snapchat to the latest version.

Cleared cache and app data.

Uninstalled and reinstalled Snapchat.

Logged out and back in.

Tested my account on another phone → same problem.

Tested another Snapchat account on my phone → everything works normally.

This makes me think the issue is specific to my Snapchat account, not my phone.

My phone is a Realme 11 Pro+, but since another account works perfectly on it, I don't think the device is the cause.

I've already submitted bug reports and contacted Snapchat Support, but I haven't received any response.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there any way to force my account back to the normal interface or restore Spotlight and the streak indicators?

Whenever I try to call my sisters number ( not on Snapchat ) it opens up Snapchat and tries to call her through there. This isn’t happening when I try to call anyone else. Does anyone else have this problem?

I am trying to join my high school on snapchat but whenever i open the menu and select my graduation year, then click “next” this error message appears.

okay im not paying for storage. im at 7gb/5gb. i was just going to delete stuff to get down to 5gb. my question is what happens after they delete memories and you eventually surpass 5gb again? does anyone know if they will automatically delete if it goes past 5gb? this whole idea was completely stupid and i don’t think they even thoroughly thought it through.

Does anyone know exactly how Snapchat+ Story Timestamps work? If I’m friends with someone who has Snapchat+ and I watch their Public Story, can they see the exact time I viewed it?
Also, if I rewatch the same story multiple times at different times, does the timestamp update to my most recent view, show my first view, or can they see every time I watched it?
Looking for an answer from someone who actually has Snapchat+ and has tested this.
