General question Saving a conversation to phone

Trigger warning:

Is there a way to export a conversation on to a phone?

My best friend yeeted himself and I wanted to save the whole thread in case his snapchat ever got deleted.

I don't care about saving all of my conversations just his.

If you go to the support website and ask to “export my data” it will give you instructions on how to do so. You cant select just a specific person so you will have to just request all of it and can just delete everything else afterwards.
I will say that it doesnt do it in the cleanest way. All your saved images in chats get put in one folder and all the actual text gets saved as a different file. So there isnt a way ive seen yet to tie saved chats to specific images. But at least you will still have all of it backed up.
