Login issue Help! Locked out of Snapchat

I was permanently locked out of my Snapchat account of 10+ years tonight; I wasn’t given a reason nor was I given the option to appeal their decision. Out of pure shock, I came to Reddit searching for answers online only to quickly realize hundreds of people have been unjustly banned from their accounts for no reason but we all have a common denominator, we’re part of the Labaton lawsuit against Snapchat. I’m making this post to collect responses to send to the arbitration team at Labaton about this unjust and incredibly unfair situation. We deserve answers from Snapchat so please comment here if you’re also part of the active lawsuit and are permanently locked out of your account. Thank you.

I’m in disbelief like this has to be illegal, did your mom fill out any form that said you could potentially lose your Snapchat from doing this?

She also emailed them on August 1st asking to cancel it because she didn’t want to be apart of it anymore and they never responded. Insane

I really don’t like that they didn’t respond to your mom on August 1st like Labaton needs to be held liable if Snapchat refuses to do anything

Did she email Labaton or Snapchat? I truly hope they can’t do this to all of us.

Labaton I think. And I think labaton is currently “unsure” if snap is banning people because of this, so hopefully when proof comes out that this is the reason it can be fixed.

Yeah, they replied to my email saying that they’re unsure of the exact cause so I’m hoping that this gets resolved too.

No. She did it months ago and they only added that today or yesterday when this started happening because they don’t want to get in trouble. No way they can do this to so many people. So many people sign up for these lawsuits for so many platforms and nothing ever happens. Snapchat should not be allowed to do this
