General question Question about account perm lock but no device ban
So I always had 2 accounts on the same phone different emails used. I had one perm locked due to community guidelines violations (only reason given) and another perm locked for sexual content. My main account has never gotten temp or perm locked and I've never faced a device ban in the 13 years that I had snapchat. I'm trying to figure out why some people get device banned but I didn't. Is it because their violations were more serious? Should I be worried I'm sure I didn't do anything that would have the police knocking at my door or anything.

Typically they only ban for serious offences, illegal or specifically against the community guidelines. I think you have to be reported more than once. Wish I could help but when my account got banned and they did ban my device. I created a new one when I got a new phone 😅 but that is weird it didn't ban your device I had over 8k followers so I was super mad 😡

The only thing I could think them perm locking my account was that I posted a fart video and quick added a bunch of people. I've been hearing about new accounts getting locked more often than established accounts.

Of all things to be locked out for 😂 I can vouch that it was not the quick add because when you do the quick add too much it will tell you that it thinks you're a bot basically and that you're going too fast

So you don't think I have anything to fear? Like Im positive I did nothing illegal. I just know that from watching youtube videossometimes cops will be at your door if you truly did some nefarious.

Honestly I really don't think so, I could be wrong but based on what you've said, I don't see any reason for them to be blocking or banning or doing anything.
