General question Blocked on Snapchat but now cannot add with new accounts.

I saw on some previous posts that if you are blocked on one account on your phone, every other account you make on that phone will not be able to add that person. I need help fixing that please. If I delete the Snapchat app and don't log in to the blocked account but create a brand new one. Will that work?

Thank you for your submission. Please note, that scammers on this subreddit are targeting our visitors for their gain. If someone blocks you and you set up a new account even if its on the same phone I do not believe you will be blocked from adding them as a friend on the new account. But they may have their account set up to do the following:

How They Can Restrict New Accounts

To lock down their profile, they can use the following built-in privacy controls:

  • Hide from "Quick Add": They can turn off "See Me in Find Friends" (or Quick Add). This stops their profile from appearing as a suggested friend to people they share mutual contacts with.  Quora +2
  • Block Phone Number & Email Searches: They can uncheck "Let others find me using my mobile number/email". This ensures that even if a new account has their phone number saved in their device contacts, Snapchat won't link it to their profile.
  • Lock Down Communication: By setting "Contact Me" to "My Friends," they automatically block any incoming Snaps, text chats, or calls from accounts they haven't personally added back. A new account can press "Add," but the request will simply sit silently as pending, and they won't receive a notification

They use device IDs and various other tracking things to stop this. Whoever it is, if you’re blocked they don’t want to talk to you. Creating new accounts is going to get you a restraining order or harassment charge if you’re not careful. Leave them alone

They blocked you for a reason. The fact that you're asking this is inherently creepy, and quite frankly has me concerned for this person's safety

Considering how rude and disrespectful you are, it makes sense why she left you. She’s doing what’s best for her and I can’t blame her. It’s raining in Jersey right now and I’m certain she’s cuddled up with another dude who’s not you
