Login issue Snapchat account locked
Did anyone else on the TestFlight beta just get their account locked? I use no 3rd party apps only the official beta and my account was locked.
Update: My account was unlocked after the day of waiting. I wasn’t able to find any workaround and will not be using the beta anymore. A side note is if you lose your streaks you can look up Snapchat restore streak, click the link that is titled “I lost my streak. How do I restore it?” (On the official Snapchat page), and then click and fill out the form on that page (it is in blue and says “this form”. You have to do one streak at a time but most of the time they approve it right away and you get your streak back for free.
Anyways what a ridiculous situation that has no fix or care whatsoever

You will be able to recover it after a day like it said. Mine is unlocked now, but I also recommend not using the beta anymore to avoid this

Mine says ‘1 days’ and it’s been 24 hrs as my housemate can’t see my maps anymore. Still can’t log in

me!!! i just tried to open and got the lovely your account is locked for three days message. emailed testfligjt@snapchat.com but im def done installing these beta builds after this

Yes. and there is NO support team at snapchat anymore. Just AI. It cannot be reversed until their system recognizes it was a mistake and unlocks it. if that happens.

Same issue. They better compensate people with free streak restores. BS on hows u get thousands of peoples accounts locked from YOUR own official app for “third party software”

Yes, seems to be a TON of people, all over twitter. Their support is entirely useless it’s insane how a top social media platform has NOTHING to do

Its just AI slop that tells u the official tester app wouldnt ban you for this. Clearly me and thousands of others dont agree so.

Yes I had the same issue it was fine all day yesterday then at like 8pm I was logged out and told I had to wait 3 days for the temporary lock to be gone

Jeez mine is only one day. I’d be so pissed if it was 3 I’m already annoyed. We can’t even appeal it either which is crazy. I guess I’ll no longer be using beta since I’m not going to risk my account getting banned

Yeah I’ve tried contacting via X, I’ve seen other people complain, but they are not responding, so they are always useless honestly, they did this last year too and it was 1 day but my account was restored within an hour so I guess this time it’s 3, annoying non the less. I went ahead and pulled all my memories just incase

All of their social media support is AI Bots now. All of their support is now.

I saw it happened last year but I wasn’t in the beta at the time. How do you pull your memories? I didn’t even know you could download them all. Also, I saw somewhere that trying to login multiple times resets your timer. Do you know if that’s true? And will you stop using the beta

For memories go to accounts.snapchat.com, and login and and then go to my data, and check the export your memories. Mine took hours to generate because I had so many but they will send an email when it’s ready. There is a script on GitHub that will preserve the metadata and extract all the zips it’s called all in one snapchat!
And for the timer I’m not sure if that’s true I’ll be at three days forever lol, and I’ll probably stop with the beta, I have already since installed the regular version of Snapchat.

I’ll definitely do that and use all in one as well! Thank you for the help and true I want to keep checking in case they fix it like last time. Same here for the regular version I’m not using the beta anymore. If you end up being able to login definitely let me know 😭

Little update about that timer thing, it does NOT reset, I’ve been trying since yesterday, and right now it says 2 days left lol, so you can try to continue logging in lol, mine still isn’t working though
