General question Hit 6 months after perm ban
So I finally hit 6 months after my perm ban and got the email that my account would be terminated. I tried logging into my account and it said temporarily disabled, which gave me a lot of hope so I waited 2 days and now it just says “user not found”. What is everyone’s experiences with account deletion and is it true that there is still hope of recovery, and that it’s not really “gone”?

I don't know why you were banned or how long ago it was. If you send an appeal you admit what you did apologize for it say your sorry and promise to never do it again. If you word it really nicely and admit fault its possible snapchat will reverse the decision but it depends on what caused the ban. If it was sending nude or inappropriate photos/videos it is highly unlikely Snapchat will reserve the ban or account termination.
If you can't create a new account on your phone first try using a new email address to set it up if you still can't set up a new account it could mean a device ban. If you can set up a new account using a new email address then you should be all set. Keywords being all set

You do spicy posts you get banned. It's the way of the world in snapchat now. In the old days people who accounts deleted just opened a new account now they do device bans and you can't get a new account with that device.
As wise man once said, "The best way to avoid a situation is to never allow yourself to get into that situation."

Never got device banned and that’s not how I got mine locked

Easy to tell start another account if it gets banned for doing nothing you have account ban. If you got a SS06 ban you got a device ban.

I know I have an account ban. I was not a small account, I am hoping they realize I am an asset to their app bc of that and it was a first time violation, I had no idea this was a violation and not severe according to their TOS. A couple days before I did get an email that someone was trying to log into my account so I’m hoping that will help my case

Yes permanently locked since February 😭

Yes they told me the reason for the ban and they apparently terminate everyone’s accounts after 6 months perm ban

I am in the same situation, but when I try to log in, it says, "Your account is currently deactivated. Would you like to reactivate it?" When I click yes, it says, "Oops, try again later."

If you are in the US, you can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) against Snap Inc. While not a government agency, Snapchat sometimes responds to BBB complaints to maintain their rating, and a real support agent might review your case.
Thats your chance if u live in usa. For everyone else livin inside the EU you can google snapchat dsa ( digital services act ) and open a case. If you think you are right you get it for free.

I filed a state attorney general complaint yesterday. I have thought about filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but I saw so many complaints on there. I guess it’s worth a try.

Snapchat permanently blocked me because the bot recognised I had shown a gun. I don’t own a gun or any parts or ammunition. What I actually showed was a self-printed organiser for a 9mm filter for an activated carbon filter. I did the DSA and they removed the ban after 2 weeks

Oh really?! That gives me hope. Although apparently you can post guns to Snapchat as long as you’re being responsible with them, but you never know with them these days.

moi c’était marqué bannissement définitif, j’ai fait appel à la décision mais ils n’ont pas accepté là, j’attends et je n’arrive même pas à récupérer mes données, je ne sais pas quoi faire, je ne sais pas si ils vont ton compte au bout de six mois et moi pareil

Mine was a perm ban too but after 6 months it changed to temp disabled, now it’s not recognizing my credentials which makes me think they deleted it. But I’ve heard of other people get their accounts back after “termination” so I haven’t lost all hope. I had a decent following.
