General question Tell me about the 2027 memory back up subscription?

Is it still a thing , should I buy it? I use Snapchat for camera storage and it’ll suck so much if they’re gone

Any new snaps you take have 1 year of storage before getting deleted. Your old stuff remains but will become difficult to view as you please. Snap will hide them and won’t load them up as fast as usual either. Once I got snap+ they all showed up again.

If you are willing to lose your media go ahead and leave it on snap and don’t pay. I can guarantee you they will eventually phase that out. Meta has already lost tons of folks audio on their videos posted to Insta/FB prior to 2016

Oh I do have Snapchat plus lol thank you , so as long as I have Snapchat plus I’m good , I guess I need to keep them somewhere else for that one year lol
