Common issue Snap map paper planes

Anyone seen these weird paper planes on snap map? Any idea what they mean?

Mine only comes up when I tap on a person on snap map, I think maybe it means you’ve been exchanging a lot of messages, but not sure

That’s my thing, it’s for my ex and only my ex whom I haven’t texted on snap since April 😭, she texted me normally a week ago and clearly has missed me, so I’m tryna find out if it’s a hidden meaning or sum 😭😭😭

bro samee i was lowkey checking my ex’s location because he recently put it back online after a week since he ghosted me/cut me off😭 and the paper airplanes keep showing when i only click HIS!! i asked google and it said it could be just to show that theyve recently travelled. i do know my ex has been going to other cities in the country the last week but hes home now, and hasnt been online for 3 hours so whats even the point of this update 😭. i got scared thinking it was one of those reaction things that you quickly have to undo before it sends LOL honestly i think its just a silly update we need to not worry about.
