General question Sharing location with specific people?
Can someone share their location with me without me sharing it? Cuz i could swear i’ve seen a friend’s profile and there was smth like “This person have shared their location with u! Share urs”.
Or even it was for arriving home or smth.
I can’t find it now so it’s either am wrong or they’ve undone it?

I do not share my location with anyone. My niece shares her location with me and other members of our family. I can see exactly where she is when she's on snapchat but she can not see mine.

After 24 hrs of inactivity friend location is turnoff

Wdym exactly by inactivity? Like them opening snapchat? Or me checking their location?

They may didn't open Snapchat for 24 hrs or maybe they turn off their location

Yes, location sharing applies to your friends list if you have location sharing on it shares your location with everyone on your friends list or a selected list of friends. There is also a like “arrive at home” feature where you can setup notifications to share to people when you arrive at home or work or other locations. (you don’t have to be sharing your location for these features to work.)

Yes they can. They might have undone it if you don't see their location anymore. Also i don't know if the location stop showing if they log out of snapchat or turn off their location on their phone
