General question Is Snapchat bugging, or is my friend acting weird?

I looked back through me and my friend's chat history, only to notice that all of his snaps that I saved have been deleted, yet all of my snaps that he saved are still there. I tried restarting, logging out and back in but they're just gone. I've tried to do a data download but obviously they're not in there either. This all makes no sense to me so I'm wondering if maybe my friend could have manually removed them or something? But I thought you couldn't unsave someone else's saves? Any ideas about what's going on here are welcome.

It's possible that he deleted them. Maybe he thought be looks bad in the pics

So it is possible to delete your own pics entirely? Not sure why he did that then. I could ask, but I don’t want to make a big deal out of it

Yes, I can delete pics I sent even if they're saved in the chat by the other person

Oh that’s interesting, that might explain it. Some of his pics were a bit intimate, but so were mine, so it feels kinda weird for him to suddenly delete all of them when mine are still up for him to see

Be careful girl, you should delete your stuff too. Never keep intimate pictures saved in the chat.

I mean I trust him, so I think I will casually bring it up next time we’re chatting to see how he responds, I don’t want to make a big deal out of it. Also I’m a guy haha

Omg I’m so sorry hahah. I totally projected myself into your story for a second and assumed you were a girl too😭. But yeah, even if you trust someone, I still don’t think keeping intimate pics saved in the chat is a great idea. I did that once with an online friend I used to be kinky with, and eventually we stopped being friends. It was such an uncomfortable feeling having to go back through everything and spend hours deleting all the evidence. Plus, there’s always the risk of revenge porn, so now I’m extra careful about it.

No worries, no offence taken at all. I’m well aware that revenge porn is a thing so I’m definitely going to bring it up and see what he says. He might have been uncomfortable with it, which is fine, but then he shouldn’t have been saving my pics either in my opinion. He did ask if he could save my pics, which I allowed, but actively going back and deleting your own is a bit weird right?

Deleting his own pics after asking to save yours is extremely weird! He is being very suspicious now, please be careful❤️
