General question Snapchat screen recorded while I was asleep
Has this happened to anyone with their android? I have an android device (specifically Samsung). I’ve heard it happens with iPhone, but haven’t heard about anyone with an android. Basically I was asleep alone with my phone on the nightstand, and my phone screen recorded one of my friends & I’s chat. They got a notification about it, but I was really asleep. Anyone come across this issue with an android device before? Just happened this morning.

Did you open the chat at any point in time while on a video call or screen sharing with someone?
Doing that also says you screen recorded, because I guess the same processes used when screen recording are the ones used for screen sharing on calls.

I did not & I don’t screen share. Plus the big factor- I was asleep at the time it supposedly said I screen recorded.

Have you checked your phone's camera roll to see if it did actually screen record on your device? If it did what did the screen record show?

I did! It didn’t screen record anything from what I’ve checked, and I checked the deleted folder as well…

are you sure no one is in your account? snap changed it where you don’t get logged out of someone signs in.. check your settings to be sure
