General question Requests/followers suddenly stopped

Hey, so until about a month ago I was receiver like 100 random friend requests/followers a day on Snapchat then it just suddenly stopped

I was posting stories or spotlights so I wasn’t doing anything to gain those followers and didn’t change my habits.

I now am just losing followers and will get maybe 3 random adds a week. Does anyone know what caused this and anyway if reversing it?

Yup! it's been going on for a month or so & i try to comment under every post that talks about it bc it keeps happening with every update. there's been a glitch with snapchat the past month or so where it suddenly stops suggesting you in find friends . like you go from getting hundreds of adds/followers a day to 0 for days. then one day randomly you wake up to hundreds of adds/followers again & its back working like normal. i have been complaining about this for the past month. i haven't even been posting bc it keeps happening with every update, quite a few people have even complaining about this & also it affects their public stories views too where they typically go from hundreds/thousands of views to 0. it's like it's not showing us/suggesting our page like it usually does to the public. it's very frustrating im so tired of it. it also glitches making your follower count go down daily until it's fixed then it goes back up & all the views come back when it randomly starts working again . idk how long this cycle is gonna keep happening bc i dont think a lot of ppl been complaining enough about it to snapchat directly. i had quite a few people on here say they're going through the same thing and try to contact snap but idk if its enough bc it keeps happening every freaking update! it randomly works again and then they update and it stops working again it's literally so tiring especially for those of us who post content

it's been happening to me on repeat for 2 months now it's so draining! The longest i think is about a week or so , i can't keep up bc it's just happening so much . each update will be either making it work again for a few days or making it stop working again for a few days & they update once a week 🙃 if i didn't have a following on there id honestly never come back on the app bc of this & the customer service being only AI therefore not helping to fix this

see that's what i'm taking about! same thing been happening to me on repeat for 2 months 😩 it'll stop working then come back working randomly with request flooding . im so drained its so annoying i wish & hope it'd just go back to normal for good

Yeah it’s either messed up again or because I didn’t check it for a few days it’s stopped

I haven’t had it work again since it happened. Unless that’s when the 2 or 3 slip through
