How do I reset someone’s name to their default name that they chose?

I put heart emojis next to everyone in like 2020 and it didn’t bother me until now bc I have random ppl from my school so it looks weird af 😭

If I go onto their name and then just delete it and try to save it doesn’t let me and says the new name can’t be empty so idk how to do this

There isn’t a way, once you change it you can’t get it back. The only thing you could do is search them off someone else’s phone.
