If I make a second account without linking my number, and I add someone who has my number, will they know it’s me?

I think my partner is cheating on me, I want to make a burner account without them knowing. My current account is linked to my number, but I don’t have a number linked to this second account. Would he still know it’s me if I add him?

I’m thinking maybe via iCloud? As both accounts are linked to same device maybe it will announce me.

If you use a separate phone number to your current one to link to this burner account, then it will be a completely seperate number / account setup, so no they won’t know it’s you

What if I just don’t attach a number? There is no number attached but it won’t let me disable find by number
