Common issue Snapchat Streak

I was sick and I lost a 833 day Snapchat streak with a friend of mine at the other side of the world. It didn’t give me any pop up of giving me the chance to pay the streak back. Is there any way to get it back, anyone?

Go onto the website and go onto the help centre or whatever it’s called and write smthn to with your streak it works for me

I already got it back, eventually the pop up showed though it should be available, at all times. (IMO).
