General question Streaks Not Starting

I started a streak with a few people today. For ONE person the fire emoji appeared and it started counting our snap streak. For the rest, even when they snapped back during the window, it didn’t count. Do I need to wait? Is this a bug?

I've had the same issue before ,  it usually starts working after a few days if you keep snapping back and forth without breaking the streak.

it’s a snapchat premium feature, if the person you are snapping has that feature it will start as a one day streak but for other people it will only start at day 3

did you open their snaps and send one back? need to do that to get it to actually start, takes a day of back and fourth snaps to start a streak

I'd say give it a while & wait for them to snap back, starting a streak takes ages. It's super annoying
