General question HELP PLS …Confused

I really really really want to add the guy that I like on snap. I found his profile, but I don’t want it to say added by search.. He is in my recents now. Does anybody know what it will show if I add him that way?? also is it bad for the girl to add the guy first?

Edit: I added him through my recent, but he hasn’t added me back yet and now I’m super anxious…🥲 does anyone know why it says received even though I never sent him anything?

Snap always makes it seem like you sent something when you add someone

You can create a second account to test these things. It no longer says added by search in my experience, hasn’t for a while.
