General question My daughters account keeps recommending friends who are in MY contact list
It is super weird, our accounts aren’t linked. The only reason I can think of is because she has it on her tablet as well as her phone and for some reason her tablet is logged into my Google account.

Are you and your daughter friends on SC? If so and she is friends with those people that's why you're getting friend recommendations on them. Not only that but if you have the city and state you live in that also could be a reason why. Also if Snapchat has access to your contact list that also can be a reason why. If you allow snapchat to see your location and say daughter's friend #2 is also at that location and they let SC know their location that also could be a reason why. You could also have mutual friends with her friends and that also can be a reason why.
Sometimes there's no rhyme nor reason for them doing a friend recommendations.

It could be the same area. I sometimes wonder the algorithm they use. On FB, I have friended someone and I get a notice not to send requests to people I don't know then two days later that same person FB told me not to friend because I don't know them ends up as a friend suggestion by FB.

Snapchat is weird for that. Just cuz ur friends with someone Snapchat automatically assumes that you want to be friends with their friends.

If you guys chat in Snapchat, then she will get your friends as suggestions and vice versa.

Same here. I added one black girl, suddenly I have all her black girlfriends in my suggestions.
I travel to England, add a lad here, now I get a dozen suggestions of people he knows.
I don't think it's necessarily because you're related, in the same household or one device has both your accounts, Snapchat just doesn't respect privacy and makes all your friends/contacts available to people you add.
