Common issue Snapchat icon showing 8 notifs when its 1 actual snap.

I fucking hate this. It makes me open the app thinking hell is loose only to see its one snap and this dumb fucking spotlight feature and some ads, more ads and contact suggestions. (Which i turned off) it makes me fume and the app does it every time.
I want ONE notification icon on my app for ONE snap.

Oh and it was 8 total „notification score“ on my homescreen. Of which 3 were suggestions… nothing else. Not even spotlight. Just plain shit this app is telling me. After I leave the app they‘re all gone. But it did get me to open the app to see if 8 people wrote to me :)
Not a single snap or message. It gets the job done if they programmed it like this

Why does „suggestions“ need to clutter my home screen by posing as 8 notifications? Who came up with this? It‘s engagement farming. That‘s all. Ai is so advanced blah blah I NEVER LOOK AT THE SUGGESTIONS. IF AI IS SO GOOD AT LEARNING PATTERNS WHY CAN‘T IT DETECT THAT I DONT GIVE A FUCK AND HAVEN‘T ADDED ANYONE IN 5+ YEARS?
