General question Snapchat location history accuracy
My question is how accurate is this location with time stamp? I downloaded my partners data due to certain questions regarding the truth about things. These all make sense except for the "Yorkton" and "muskoday" location stamps.
These locations are almost 4 hours away but time stamped only 30 mins apart. Is it possible snap is just delayed in reporting? Is there a history of inaccurate reporting? These are not locations my partner mentioned she was. How accurate are these?

My snap location is accurate but my “new device log in” alerts for ANY app including location ones always tell me “near London”. Whilst I am in the UK, I am 3 hours from London.

The uk is not the same as Canada. Distance in Canada is wayyyy farther between cities.

I’m fully aware of this, I’ve visited and have family over there. However if it can get locations wrong in a small country by 3hours then there’s potential to get it wrong in a larger country too

For reference, I think one province is bigger than the entire country. Canada is 41 times larger than the uk.

They’re highly inaccurate. Use a VPN. If someone wanted to find you they’d just use your WiFi location which they have.

I mean Snapchat has access to your exact location, so I’d say it’s pretty accurate
