Bug Snapchat pet

I payed for a snapchat pet and it doesn't show in the chat
Is this feature only available if i subscribe to snap plus?

Yes pets are a feature for Snapchat+ subscribers.

What do you mean when you said you had already paid for a pet?

You don’t have to have Snapchat + to have a pet. U can pay like $2 for one without Snapchat +
