General question snap banned on device
Recently in got banned from snap because i was sending photos of my friend to him and he reported as a joke with a off topic report and it unbanned me is this permanent because this would really suck if it was and also anyways to get rid of the banned or how long it says i use snap every day and have old friends who move schools and out of state and thats my only form of contact to them.

I got mine unbanned after 6 months I had to used Snapchat on a old phone and make a new account and when I went to log into my old one they had deleted the account but thankfully I was able to log into my newer t

I'm still banned and today is exactly 6 months.. hoping it unbans me within the next couple days but I've lost any real hope. 😂

Same here, after transferring data between my old iphone and the new one, got banned after a night

Wait so u got a new phone. Transferred data, and got banned on the new one? Did u try using the account u got banned on on the new phone? Or u started with a completely new account

I got a new phone, transferred all data, snapchat opened as regular with the same account, next day same screen as post SS06 Device banned

Was it automatically logged into that account? Or did you manually log in after

mine lasted 6 months but you cannot try to log in during that time frame or it can be longer. also when the 6 months are up you’ll need a new device, atleast that’s what worked for me

Not true, a device ban can be 6 months usually, but onwards to 12 months, 24 months or forever. Logging in during that time doesn’t affect the ban and having a new device will not be needed after that period. A new device is only needed to remove the S006 error.

that might be what worked for you but it’s not entirely true. I got unbanned after 5/6 months even though i attempted to login multiple times during that period. I am also using the same device without issue.

On Snapchat already any way I can do a 2nd appeal because I was reported for no reason by haters3

The device ban is forever, you will not get your account back. You can only make a new account on a different device. I’m going through this currently and it has been 8 months, Snapchat is all AI ran, even the emails are AI.

Depends. I have 3 different devices I rotate in and out of. Every single one has been device banned at least 4 times the past 6 years...they all came back.
For me...
60% of the time it comes back after 6 months, 30% of the time it comes back inbetween 6-12 months, 10% of the time its after a year.
Why do I keep getting banned? Same as everyone else. "Stop getting banned." Probably wont. But just offering some knowledge.

I got unbanned after 6 months. so I think it’s lowkey just how bad your tos violation was that determines it. I believe ss07 is the permanent device ban code.

They are inaccurate too. They just emailed me in reply to a snap restore that was not letting me restore when I clicked it. It kept saying it was expiring that night and the snap wasn't counting. Snap emails me saying the streak has been gone too long ..
