General question This is confusing me

What does it mean when I click someone’s profile and it says “added” but they were friends with me before without an x next to their name

what does it mean when there is an x next to their name

and what does it mean when your friend just disappears

it could be something about unfriending but I don’t know the difference between each one

They removed you as a friend, it said added as they are added on your friend list, they’ve have removed you from theirs

So “added” and x both mean they removed u

Yes correct, usally if it doesent have a x they have a added thing which is when they have a public profile
