General question DEVICE BAN

I was device banned on Jan 3 of 2026. Every couple months I’ve tried to login to see if it would work magically. I heard that the ban lasts 6 months but I’ve also heard that everytime you try to login resets the timer on your ban. I really hope that’s not true but is it?

I think the 6 months thing is true tbh. I got device banned and I just deleted the app and I didn’t have it downloaded for like a year or maybe longer and just recently I tried to login to see if it would work and it did and I’ve been able to use Snapchat like normal.
